My work is first and foremost about Society and Culture of forgotten, missed or ignored views that I have captured.

A large proportion of my work explores Society and Culture. I have captured and created images of cities and landscapes, urban and rural, buildings and streets, sometimes un-mistakable and iconic, but often images of forgotten missed or ignored views that I have captured through chance encounters.

Images set in the very environment that communicates the real culture and atmosphere of the place where they were photographed, be it a town or city, rural landscape, coast/beach, building or just a back street.

Sometimes I leave the image in its untouched and original form. Other images are the result of adapting and working with the image to create a contemporary print that enhances the subject or culture within it, but always trying to capture the essence of the given environment.

All photographs are actual glimpses of life itself, none are set up or posed for, I hope this gives the viewer a unique insight to the culture and atmosphere of that particular place and moment in time.

The Product: High quality, exclusive and professional

Giclée printing: The limited edition images are produced using the Giclée printing technique. The technique involves the image being printed onto fine art paper using archival quality inks. The prints are produced using professional, high quality printers. These advanced printers are capable of producing incredibly detailed prints. Giclée prints can be found in the world’s finest museums and art galleries. The archival grade pigment inks create superb, sharp images, which are printed onto museum and gallery grade paper. Either St. Cutherbert’s Mill or Hahnemuhle produces the paper I use. The prints are usually printed on either St. Cutherbert’s Mill or Hahnemuhle produced paper, they are age resistant and acid free. The St. Cutherbert’s Mill paper is 255gms and 100% cotton, the Hahnemuhle is a similar weight and used for the more modern prints.
